SAGA, FOR THOSE THAT WORRY
 

For those of you who worry,
and can't seem to win,
here are some things to consider,
before the battle begins.

There are two kinds of worry,
that we are all aware,
and only one can we control,
the other you can't, so don't go there.

Of the one that we have control,
act upon it the best you can,
take it to a point where you can't control,
and then forget it again.

For those of you who worry,
and can't believe or trust,
you think everyone is out to hurt you,
and you are sure life is unjust....
your days are full of anguish,
your nights you toss and turn,
your life a vicious cycle,
and relaxation you can't learn.

You spend all your life,
pretending all is well,
meanwhile within you battle,
the worse living hell,
You lie to God,
you lie to you too,
for if you REALLY believed,
he'd surely watch out for you.

Filled with guilt,
filled with pain,
you are so certain,
you'll never love again,
a bitterness deep inside,
thinking someone done you wrong,
now you fear everything,
you want to be strong.

For those of you who worry,
and suffer alone in pain,
not trusting anyone around,
so you won't get hurt again,
you give away your life,
one worry at a time,
you are certain your tomorrow,
isn't worth a thin dime.

You never do anything,
that you say you'll do,
you remained consumed in thought,
negative, through and through.
You are very quiet,
never much to say,
hiding in your sorrow,
wasting your life away.

When you are offered help,
when you ask for advice,
you just shine it on,
never thinking twice,
when I ask for your thoughts,
you ignore what I say,
and keep avoiding NOW,
and keep wasting today.

For those of who worry,
I don't know what else to do,
I have done all I know,
in trying to help and reach you,
I have been here,
and listened to what you have said,
I've reached out and tried to touch,
but you ignoring and denying instead.

Go find a mirror,
look into those beautiful eyes,
see the love and the promise,
see the wonder you are,
realize we all have yesterdays,
that were not all that great,
and yet they produced YOU NOW.

Stand at that mirror,
looking into those beautiful eyes,
feel the love that they need,
feel the power within you,
know that you ARE the love they need,
feel GOOD to be here,
feel LIFE is a TREAT,
believe in yourself.

Know that our life is short,
and we aren't taking anything with,
nothing is worth worry,
nothing is worth wasting the precious LIFE,
we are here to be happy,
DO NOT BE CONTROLLED,
DO NOT allow anyone to abuse you,
take care and love yourself,
TRUST YOURSELF,
Take CHARGE of you,
you owe it to yourself,
to be happy and true.

Get your mind into happy things,
change EVERYTHING that you must,
learn to love yourself,
you'll relearn to trust,
for all that hurts,
won't be FIXED by anyone,
for only YOU have that power,
and YOU decide if it hurts, or not,
YOU decide ALL ABOUT YOU.

NOW is the time,
to see in those eyes,
the POWER of all you want,
the POWER of all you desire,
the POWER of all you wish,
the POWER of all you pray,
the POWER of all you long for,
it is ALL WITHIN YOU.
