DON'T BE SAD
 

Don't be sad, my little one,
we will make things better,
life may seem cloudy and grey,
but we make the sun shine together.

We'll take all the big nasty problems,
and change each and every one,
to just a small little one,
and fixing them will be FUN !!

It is a matter of me, a matter of you,
to decide which way we'll go,
for what is US is ours alone,
to stop or continue to grow.

Things in life happen in flashes,
lives begin and lives can end,
in but the blinking of an eye,
value the time with a friend.

Love comes on as quick as birth,
and ends the same at the end,
focus not on these bookends of life,
enjoy the NOW you can spend!

Two people enter the stage,
love in their eyes, promise in their heart,
putting their full self into making it work,
never wanting to spend a moment apart.

With trust, respect and desire,
they can have many happy years,
each giving and each receiving,
through the love and the tears.

Love must be new, like the day,
it will be exciting and fun,
if you treat it like your play,
and act it out as one.
