ONE LONELY STAR

One star in the entire sky,
one lonely star blinking,
all alone in time and space,
just what is it thinking.

That one star, has seen it all,
just an innocent bystander,
all in this world have passed by ,
that one little, lonely star.

Forever it glows,
beyond time and space,
how long is forever?
how far is space?

For all we really know,
we have always been also,
did it really ever begin,
how long is forever?

Our goal in life, as mankind,
is to end all suffering,
fix all the hurts,
right all the wrongs,

People will never age,
we'll all just keep going.
The one lonely star in the sky,
has it seen us all before?

What has that one star seen?
Eternity and forever, like a dream?
What are we, children of nature,
in awe of all around us,
the trees, the mountains,
the birds and the bees,
the beauty of nature,
a lonely stream,
a moonlit night,
the feeling of love,
a gentle spring breeze.

I look at you, I see that star,
it is in your eyes,
it is in your smile,
it is in your heart,

You my dear one,
are indeed the true center,
of all that is good,
of all that is beauty,
of all that is wonder...
