BY COMPARISON

All in your life,
will become more clear,
if you weigh each of it,
by comparison to something.

When you can set,
your mind to this task,
and seek out information,
you will be much happier.

I will give some examples,
to point out the value,
of comparing,
and how it can change a view.

I have worked 45 straight days,
many of those days were 12 hours,
came the time I worked only 8 hours,
by comparison, it was like having a day off.

For 2 days last weekend,
I worked only 8 hours,
when I came to work on Monday,
I felt as if I have had a month away !

A person struggling with debt,
may owe several thousand,
but, by comparison to one in prison,
they are in VERY GOOD SHAPE!!

A person who now weighs 200 pounds,
looks quite small and thin indeed,
when they are next to one who,
weighs 350 pounds !!!

One who is sad and alone,
needs to learn the value of life,
for all around you are so many,
who would valse your smile and a moment of your time.

There is a time and place for all of us,
but no time to sit and to brood,
life is too short and beautiful,
by comparison to NOT BEING, life is WONDERFUL.

YOU are the god in your world,
YOU decide what you do NOW,
YOU can do whatever you please,
YOU must get up and MAKE it happen.

In a world full of possibility,
in a world waiting for YOU,
in a world needing YOU,
in the world in which YOU live.

There is no such thing as NO TIME,
for anyone who is alive,
there is no such thing as DON'T KNOW,
for anyone who can think.

Look around you,
comparisons are EASY to find,
make your life a HAPPY one,
set your mind in HAPPY mode !!!

By comparison to one who hasn't,
you HAVE and should value,
be aware of the life you have,
and SHARE it with the world.
