MY DEAR FRIEND
 

This is our moment sweet friend, across the miles,
you turn my heart into many smiles,
always there to lend a hand,
always telling me where you stand.

I am so happy to have found you,
so sweet, a friend so true,
time and space we can't erase,
there is no one to take your place.

Another place, another time,
would a wonder like you, ever be mine,
those thoughts do come to mind,
such a match in life to find.

I don't mean to scare you away,
it's just what I had to say,
I respect you, and I adore,
it's ok, if there is no more.

You are my friend, I'm proud to know,
closer still, we will grow,
we will share our lives, and yet,
it's almost as if, we've never met.

I want what is good for you,
to see you happy, through and through,
I want you to know that I'm here,
and I want you to know no fear.

soon you will awaken to daylight,
