IS IT WORTH IT ?

Each of our lives,
is a road through time,
and every road must end.

Your time will stop,
as will mine,
regardless of what you can spend.

As we enter this final phase,
and our health is going downhill,
we may experience more aches and pains,
than we ever have before.

The time may come,
during a painful day,
when you may begin to wonder,
is living worth this suffering ?
is continuing worth this pain ?

You can't take it with you,
neither money or time,
for when the road stops,
it ends.

There is no reason to save,
or to keep in reserve,
anything for use beyond,
use what you have today.

Use your strength and energy,
go with living in pain,
look into your mirror and smile with pride,
endure in whatever yet remains.

Keep a positive thought,
believe that life is love,
keep putting your best effort forth,
each breath, a hope, a life.

It's easy to give up and quit,
it shows character to go on,
when nothing remains or matters,
you are all you've got.

Strive to communicate,
share whats on your mind,
express your thoughts,
as best as you are able.

Of course life is worth,
doing whatever it takes,
to give up and turn inside,
would be a big mistake.

Continue to grow,
continue to experience,
for to keep on truckin',
is what you've always done.

Use all of your energy,
use all of your might,
enjoy each moment that you have,
for, with your will,
you shine your light.

You have forever,
to be silent and dark,
use all that you have,
down to the final spark.
