Both of us are lonely,
when we must be apart,
and whenever we fight,
we both have a heavy heart.

Both of us know,
the depth of the love we share,
both of us give our best,
to show how much we care.

Both of us will hurt,
when one of us must go,
we'll both be alone,
our love will continue to grow.

Both of us feel,
the pressure of the day,
both of us want happiness,
together, in love, we'll stay.

Both of us were there,
when we said "I do",
both of us has given,
all of our love so true.

Both of us cry,
when one feels pain,
both of us are sure,
we'll always feel the same.

Both of us want,
to have time to be together,
we both need to be held,
always makes us feel better.

Both of us give,
the best we can each day,
both of us enjoy,
our warmth, our passion, our play.

Both of us feel,
the same as at the start,
both of us knows,
the love in each others heart.

Both of us expresses,
with words and all of our actions,
how we feel, how we want,
each others full attention.

Both of us agree,
life is too short to fight,
both of us look forward,
to time, to warmth, and being held tight.

Both of us want,
this time to last forever,
both of us know,
it never can, however.

Both of us loves,
deep with all of our heart,
we'll both be so alone,
when nature makes us part.

Both of us understands,
that life is here to enjoy,
we both try our very best,
love is fragile, not to destroy.

We both mean all we say and do,
we both love all our time through,
we both know there is nowhere we'd rather be,
than walking along, hand in hand, happily.
