BETWEEN YOU AND ME

 
Between this one you think of as "I",
and the one that I call "you",
what is there?

The one that you can touch,
with each of your senses,
is the REAL YOU,
it is the true internal part of your life.

Everything outside you,
be it your spouse,
your children, your parents,
and even your religious believes,
are not a part of the YOU inside.

All these outside sources,
have become your attachments,
through your mind.

The one that you ARE,
the one that you get into contact with,
in the still of the night,
the one that you can smell,
and even taste,
is YOU.

It is the YOU that you will be with,
for each and every moment,
of your being.

It is the YOU that you can't,
and will never be able to lie to,
to fool, or to deceive.

It is the YOU that knows all about you,
your dreams, your desires,
your fears, and each inner secret.

It is the YOU that makes you tick,
understands your abilities to love,
to cry, to try, and also to give up.

It is the YOU that you owe your living to,
for, until you come to terms,
and love and respect the YOU,
until then,
you will never have the FULL capacity to give
or to love any outside you.

Your children will grow and learn
from what they see, hear, and sense.

This is the same way,
as you became WHO and WHAT you are
from your parents,
and it goes on and on.

Your life is ALL about you,
and all about YOU becoming,
the BEST YOU that you can possibly become.

It is for you to go through your fears,
with the attitude that you BELONG,
and that YOU DESERVE,
ONLY the best from yourself.

Your life is for YOU to realize,
that ONLY you can decide,
what you want and what price,
you are willing to pay to have it.

You give love to those you love,
THROUGH giving love and respect to yourself.

You will TEACH your children.
about life and love,
by BEING life and love.

Realize this:
The fact that you TRY and TRY,
at whatever you seek,
WILL be enough,
to trigger your children,
to give life THEIR best also,
whether or not,
you ever REACH your star!

BUT, if your children experience you,
as negative, one who quits,
and allows the FEAR of failure,
FEAR of what "THEY" say rule your life,
then THEY are cast in the same iron.

The life we lie is short, VERY short,
any failures that you encounter
will be forgotten in a very short time,
HOWEVER, your EFFORT,
and your success at EVEN TRYING,
will be carried on forever in the positive actions
and feelings of your children.
