Faith Required
 

Well, here we are. We are, perhaps for the first time in our lifetimes, where we will be relying on faith.  Of course, for those who cling to live and to all their notions of its meanings, this is going to be a REAL test.

You see, we now deal with the terrorists, or rather, are in a position where they MAY deal with us. For all the time that our priorities were on silly things, they were arriving and building right beneath our noses.

Add to that the possibility of germ and/or chemical weapons. Also recall this past summer in Europe, when Mr. Bush decided to vote AGAINST stronger rules and regulations dealing with these issues. Of course we wouldn't even know if these weapons HAD attacked us until cases began to show in hospitals.

So, here we are. We don't know for SURE, WHO they are, WHERE they are, or WHAT they can or will do. One thing we DO know, and that is that they don't value their life any more than they value ours.

Things MAY happen, and things MAY NOT happen. We MAY find and destroy ALL terrorists, and we MAY not. Do we stop, or do we continue on? How careful CAN we be, or SHOULD we be? Many have gas masks - BUT - how will they know when to put them on?

Where has humanity been for the past 30 years or so? We had a cold war; we experienced the fall of the Berlin wall. What has happened? How can we have become such experts on making Nintendo games, and so wonderful at making violent movies, such wonderful beer commercials, and know NOTHING about chemical warfare, or how to protect the public?

We have known, and have even joked for years, about how most countries in the world don't like us, and yet? We have had so many small examples to heed and learn from, and yet? Our resources and energy has gone towards drugs and chasing Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.
And now?

To those who cling to life of course, there are trying times. To those of us who believe in, trust and go with nature, we KNOW that the ONLY things that happen are those that are SUPPOSED to happen, and view life as the game it was designed to be. We MUST find a positive and a HAPPY in each and everything, as energy and time is numbered and measured, and we each have ONLY a limited supply.

To surrender your life to anything outside yourself is something people do of their own free will. In that position, all that happens to you, is with the involvement of this third party, and again, by YOUR choice. Most of the world over follows this path, and so much conflict is met in doing this, and everyone, of course believes he is right, and that this outside power will listen, and protect YOU, against all others!
