ON THE BRINK
Eyes like the dawning of life,
a mind to envision beyond dreams,
thoughts that you can be sure,
are of rainbows and moonbeams.Love that can melt glaciers,
a smile that warms my heart,
you have the power and ability,
and yet, are afraid to start.A touch to calm a storm,
your eyes twinkling with fun,
yet you can not be convinced,
that you are indeed the one.A natural wonder of time,
surrounded by the wonder of all,
curious about all there is,
from morning sun, to nightfall.Love of a thousand faces,
emotion of a million dreams,
touched by the pure of wonder,
you doubt, for what always seems.Yet, lost in a pain of your doing,
created within your own mind,
far beyond what I can reach,
far beyond what I can find.Buried in a spell beyond reason,
as you hold the power in your hand,
no amount of reason or love,
can make you understand.Your world holds it breath,
until you will be awake,
nature holds it all for you,
it is but for you to take.Simple things, not so simple,
each is a battle to fight,
each word becomes the reason,
you cling to unknown, with all your might.Corners to turn, paths to travel,
done with a mind not here,
for to lose your concentration,
you may miss, is what you fear.Search for the reason, and the answer,
through the ends of your time,
always wonder, pain and being lost,
in your space, where time is a crime.Dawning of life, was the chance,
it was all yours to take,
along the way you discovered fear,
it is all what you make.
