It's all about caring,
when I reach out to touch you,
when I want to help,
when I want you to smile.

that brings my heart forth,
that makes me vulnerable,
to hurt and pain.

when I won't give up,
when I keep on reaching,
when I continue to touch.

and that brings me happiness,
and that keeps me positive,
and that keeps me alive.

for one who needs a friend,
for one who needs an ear to listen,
for one who needs a hand to touch.

for me to call you friend,
for me to think of your happiness,
for me to care how you are.

It's all about caring,
that I feel responsible to share,
that makes me want to give,
to be patient with your emotions.

that I'm here for you,
that I want to help,
that I want us to matter.

It's all about caring,
it's all about trust,
it's all about hope,
it's all about believing.

I step forward,
because I care,
I reach for you,
with my hand to share,
I try and give hope,
when life seems unfair,
I share another view,
for you to compare,
I never tire of trying,
to show you I care.

for when I let you down,
