AND AGAIN TODAY

Another month slipped by,
while you were waiting,
for the right time,
to be alive.

Piles of papers,
all full of notes,
about how you'll live,
when it's time.

All the clothes,
fill the closets,
that you will wear,
when you lose weight.

Travel brochures,
all around the house,
your favorites all circled,
as you live in dreams.

Another month passed,
nothing started,
nothing done,
nothing accomplished.

Life is good,
you tell us all,
as you send jokes.

You need no help,
you have no problems,
you are in full control.

Silence of the night,
off line and alone,
alone with yourself,
alone with your reality.

Towards heaven you look,
sadly you begin to pray,
not knowing what you desire,
surrounded by your dreams.

How will you ever know,
how will you ever grow,
it if fear the first step.

Pretending about all,
pretending to us all,
and knowing deep inside,
there is nowhere you can hide.
