SHARE MY SMILES

I know you have a heavy heart,
I know that life does not seem fair,
I know that you get overwhelmed,
hate and hurt seem to be everywhere.

We have a life to live but once,
and I know that it is true,
if it were only to be sad and to cry,
life would never have been given to you.

Share the smiles,
you bring to me,
with your caring,
share the joy,
you make me feel,
happiness is for sharing.

Smile for all the lives gone by,
and for those yet to come,
smile for all that's been lost,
and for victories won.

Smile for time that has disappeared,
water under the bridge,
smile for the future unknown,
the other side of the ridge.

Smile for each rainbow there's been,
each butterfly on wing,
each ripple in the streams,
for the bluebirds that sing.

Share my smiles, and my thoughts,
lets walk heart in heart,
smile from the day we first meet,
and on the day we will part.

Smile for each baby's first steps,
each puppy that licks a face,
for each snowflake that has fallen,
for every lover's embrace.

Smile for the wonder of life there is,
every good and every bad,
it somehow all melts to one,
to be the life you've had.

Smile to think of what might have been,
had you made another choice,
smile to treasure what you have,
smile, be happy and rejoice.

Smile to think of how you'll feel,
at the end of your road,
when you feel at one with nature,
and know you carried your load.

Share my smiles,
share my joys,
share my thoughts of good,
share my moments,
share my wonder,
life works out as it should.
