THE SENSE OF SENSE
We all have learned,
we've all been taught,
about our senses,
the sense of taste,
the sense of touch,
the sense of smell,
the sense of sight,
the sense to hear. Those are but the beginning,
for we are "one huge sense",
with many unknown,
with many unused,
with many untapped,
senses. Each of us is a world,
unto ourselves,
through all our senses,
and our sense to sense! We are the center
of our own world,
our thoughts,
our dreams,
our pains and fears,
our wonder and delight,
our knowing and doubting,
our love or compassion,
our caring, our humor,
our hunger for truth,
our hunger for knowledge,
our ability to reason,All these facts and more,
are our world...just us.
we open our eyes each new day,
it is like the sun rising in our world,Each life is a world, with forever,
in its mind, no limits at all.
we are many worlds,
evolving through time,
through spaceEach on a different orbit.
we cross paths all the time,
but we are all ourselves,
each one a separate world,Full of the pleasures from within.
all our senses are alive,
taking in the outside world,
into our world, our mind,Deep into the inner plains.
what unknowns there are here,
each of us is the core,We laugh and play together,
we share, we care and we help.
today and throughout time,
we are going round and round,It feels like we're sitting still,
and yet, we travel all the while.
we put our best foot forward,
we step out of the door,We go where no one has gone,
we learn more each passing day,
we return each evening,
to absorb all we've learned,It takes so much energy,
each trip through another day.
does this make any sense,
of course not, because,
you already know all of which
I am attempting to say........
