IT TAKES COURAGE
 

When everyone says you can't,
and all around you is no, no ,no,
it takes courage to believe inside,
that I can, because I know!

When everyone just puts you down,
saying they don't believe or trust,
it is the time, it takes courage,
for proving to yourself is a must!

When you don't quite hit your target,
when you try but don't quite succeed,
it is the time for courage and focus,
reach inside, find the strength you need.

When the world around you is confused,
and everyone seems to be lost,
it's the time, and it takes courage,
travel your road, pay the cost.

There comes a time in each one's life,
to stand up for what they really believe,
when no one decides for you any more,
it takes courage, to yourself, don't deceive.

It is the day you will finally grow,
taking control of your reins,
knowing that you are in charge,
and can handle losses and gains.

Self respect is what you'll learn,
you will believe in what you've become,
you find that it took courage,
you'll be quite proud of a battle you've won.
