DEAD PAST, UNBORN FUTURE
As I sit here before you in the now,
at one with this moment,
knowing so many are in such pain,
so many are lost and confused.I offer to you my love, my hand,
and my wanting to be a friend,
I give to you my time and understanding,
for I sense and can feel you calling.I know you have fears of now,
of this life so unfair,
I know trusting doesn't come easy,
of this, I know and understand. If you find your mind does linger,
too long on what was,
and you find yourself very anxious,
about all that MIGHT be.If you surround yourself,
with things of yesterday,
old pictures and memories,
old songs and old heartaches. We must find a way to face the now,
and leave the dead past behind,
for all that is gone and needs forgetting,
it can't be brought back and relived. If tomorrow, the unborn future,
has your mind in its grasp,
you find yourself anxious and nervous,
over what MIGHT and might NOT be.All that must be healed,
all that needs mending,
anything that needs fixing,
can ONLY be done in the NOW.We must together find that way,
to focus your mind on today,
to deal with the wrongs and hurts,
to recreate hope and passion for life. While you allow your mind to roam,
into the dead past, or unborn future,
the time that is yours is being taken,
you ar giving your life away.Hello my friend, it is now, I love you,
I want you to live your life,
I want you to know that the now,
is the ONLY place that's alive.I want to be with you in smiling times,
where giggles and laughter are heard,
so reach out and take my hand,
and allow me to know you.You will never find the way alone,
you will neve find the way,
in a dead past, or unborn future,
you will only find it today.
