I HOPE
I hope your are right,
in all you believe,
for if you are right,
I'll have much fun ahead!I hope you are right,
with what you blindly follow,
but, worry not for me,
I am ready for anything.I hope you are right,
with all the praying you've done,
I hope there is a place,
with angels and harps,
for if you will be there,
I'd MUCH prefer the other!I hope you are right,
with all in your mind,
I hope you spend eternity,
sitting and praying.I hope you are right,
with all that you say,
I hope you spend forever,
in that white room above.I hope you are right,
with all that you preach,
I hope you find many there,
I hope no one is missing. For if you were mistaken,
of course it won't matter,
as nothing will differ,
and no one will say.For if I was wrong,
the feeling is the same,
for that won't matter either,
the same will remain. But, my own true feeling,
is that neither of us will ever know,
if we were right or wrong,
as it will be hard to see,
with all the lights being out.
