Another year has slipped away,
not one day could ever stay,
a brand new year is on its way,
and I'd just like to say,
Happy Thanksgiving.

It's a day to look around,
all the new friends you have found,
so happy to yet be above ground,
to be alive, so happy, so sound,
Happy Thanksgiving.

To the new friends you have met,
and the ones you'll never forget,
all the happiness you still get,
watching yet another beautiful sunset,
Happy Thanksgiving.

I'd like to wish you one and all,
Happiness, at the movies or the mall,
let's hope the car will never stall,
the words sincere, though pretty small,
Happy Thanksgiving.
