KEEP RIGHT ON LIVING
 

Just like the trees keep growing,
though people cut them down,
so when you hit a bum,
don't think the road has ended,
you just keep right on giving,
you keep right on living.

Like a ship at sea,
isn't discouraged by a wave,
so you, when things seem cloudy,
don't bury your head in the sand,
you just keep right on trying,
you keep right on living.

If others around you quit,
when the going gets tough,
and they are negative,
and don't have belief in you,
you just keep right on going,
you keep right on living.

Like an ant crawling up a wall,
even when you knock it down,
you must believe in yourself,
wear a smile, not a frown,
you just keep right on trucking,
you keep right on living.

You don't need the blessings of others,
to do as you feel is right,
you don't need anyone's approval,
if you want to dance all night,
you just keep right on climbing,
you keep right on living.

By being yourself just because,
by clinging to the you inside,
life is not follow the leader,
life is to explore and to try,
you just keep right on rolling,
you keep right on living.

A fish may get hooked as it swims,
a bird may get shot as it flies,
a deer may get struck by a car,
a flower may be crushed underfoot,
all of nature just keeps moving,
all of nature keeps right on living.

You go, you go, for as long s you can,
giving your best effort each time around,
you use your energy to the max,
you learn to lead, not to follow,
using your mind to be who you are,
you just keep right on living.

The strong survive, so it's your choice,
the reason is only yours to know,
adjusting to whatever comes along,
becoming a bit stronger each day,
you just keep right on giving,
you keep right on living.

For all of the days and all of the nights,
that you gave your best effort to life,
for all you've inspired,
for all you've touched,
for all who have seen your smile,
to all who have crossed your path,
for the light you shine into others' lives,
for the good feelings you bring,
for all your beliefs and all you have done,
all the rough times you trucked through,
