LET'S RECALL GOD

This world that we call home,
where negative attitudes abound,
always pointing a finger in blame,
at any and every thing around.

About to recall a Governor,
whom they say has failed,
it was not so long ago,
he was so warmly hailed.

He points out in honesty,
that many states are the same,
they have huge debt problems,
he knows them all by name.

It is true, since that September day,
much in our lives has changed,
so many priorities in spending,
have had to be re-arranged.

This President, who many hold dear,
has done the same in Washington, D.C.,
what was a surplus of funds,
has dwindled into the red, steadily.

Should we recall this Bush,
hasn't he failed us too?
Do we call him to blame,
get an attorney and sue?

Let's recall God,
after all, we all know,
that we have had too many days,
that the sun doesn't even show.

We have many days too dry,
we have many days too wet,
there's not enough rainbows,
last night, I didn't enjoy the sunset.

There are too many ants,
too many barking dogs,
not enough pretty flowers,
and way too many morning fogs.

The wind blows too strong,
there are too many bees,
too much snow in December,
not enough good Christmas trees.

Too many people who are short,
too many people with old cars,
not enough good jobs for all,
and certainly, not enough bars!

Let's recall God,
for, he rules all,
why aren't there more people,
who are 7 feet tall?

It is too humid,
the days end too soon,
I'd like to have a job,
where the day begins at noon.

Not enough pretty views,
not enough free things,
not enough channels on TV,
I don't like how that bird sings.
