FLOATING THROUGH TIME
 

I believe in ONLY the moment,
it is the ONLY time there is,
it is OURS to cherish and to live,
and the love we feel is ours to give.

I follow nothing and feel no guilt,
I captain my ship and float along,
I think and I talk and I care about you,
what I say and feel, you can be sure is true.

For in our time in the game that is life,
we have only time and each other,
we need to find our own way to show,
that we love and will help others grow.

There is no time for greed and for hate,
there is no time for hurt and abuse,
we each must take an active part,
we each must feel that love in our heart.

Millions before us have come and gone,
like so many grains of sand on the beach,
we are here now and on center stage,
what will be written on our exit page?

We are here to enjoy and have fun,
but not at the expense of hurting someone,
we need to show and feel and care,
we need to listen and touch and share,
we need to teach our children the same,
we need to do this in our time that remains.
