SEX OR LOVE ?
 

I wrote a couple days ago,
"It's all about sex",
and received many replies,
that it was really about love.

Many, obviously, did not get,
the message I tried to convey,
but, it got me to thinking,
as most every thing does!

Sex or love,
it is called,
"having sex,"
it is also called "making love".

I was saying that,
for life to continue,
"It's all about sex,"
but let us consider this statement.

In favor of love,
let us suppose,
that ONLY those,
deeply and truly in love,
could have children.

Let us suppose,
ONLY those who had,
a everlasting love,
could bring forth new life.

Let us suppose,
that regulations required,
a certificate of love,
signed and sealed by God,
before they could have children.

I ask you then,
in light of this new regulation,
what then would be,
the population of our earth?

I ask you then,
if LOVE were the case,
what would be then,
the population of America?

I ask you further,
if it WAS about love,
what would be then,
the population of your state?

I ask once again,
if LOVE is the key,
what would be then,
the population of your city?

I ask in closing,
if LOVE is the key,
what would be then,
the population of your street?

I ask at the end,
for you to think true,
what would be then,
the population of your home?

Is it sex or love,
is it lust or love,
it is real or supposed,
I rest my case.
