THE LIFE WE LIVE
 

The days full of hours,
filled with moments of wonder,
the power of our smile,
the love we share with others.

Watching the sun rise each day,
as nature remains true,
for our eyes to behold,
for us to bask in the warmth.

Being aware of nature all around,
in plants, animals and the clouds,
knowing that life is so wonderful,
it is here for us to enjoy.

Watching the birds at play,
seeing how a flower smiles,
seeing how proud a tree stands,
it all seems to have a reason.

Be there a reason for life?
Of course if we don't know,
we tend to make one up,
or listen to anothers view.

I believe it all just is,
for me, no reason is needed,
for it is beyond my concern,
life is here but to enjoy.

To use each moment to its fullest,
to put my best effort forth,
with each step or each thought,
it is my interpretation of life.

Whatever brings a true smile forward,
whatever you can be with a clear mind,
that is the only concern you need have,
we owe no explanation to anyone.

True happiness depends on the self,
knowing you are being true to you,
knowing you are hurting no one,
knowing you belong in this life.

The life we live,
the time we spend,
the love we have shared,
the wonder we have felt.

These feelings and emotions,
are the STUFF that we are,
it is what we have to give,
it is what brings our smiles.

Many won't understand,
that is fine and OK,
many won't believe,
let them go their own way.

Yours is your walk of life,
and we all have another view,
for each of us to enjoy life,
is the only reason we are here.
