THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF LIFE
This morning, it was 2:30,
being awake, I went out onto the patio,
looking to the sky I was amazed,
for I was under a sky that appeared blue,
and the biggest, white fluffy clouds you can imagine. The silence was magic,
so at peace and so natural,
the clouds were as if I could reach and touch them,
just floating lazily along. My mind moved with those clouds,
thinking HOW could there have been a time when there was NOTHING,
and YET, HOW, can something as this have been here FOREVER?It is beyond comprehension,
and YET, the human mind seems to NEED to know,
and so theories and stories are told,
and because they have no better explanation,
they CLING to those thoughts. Will we EVER know that truth?
WHAT could that proof ever be,
a certificate of creation?
Pictures of when it was NOTHING,
something time dated to show FOREVER?
It is a foolish notion,
as both seem bizarre. The most difficult part of life,
to NOT focus on needing a reason,
to NOT focus on needing an answer,
to NOT focus on needing a crutch. To live, quiet and in awe,
to live, in respect and with thanks,
to NO ONE, to NO THING,
just because. To accept what we have,
to enjoy what we have,
to utilize what we have,
without waste and without greed. To respect each thing and each person,
to respect all of nature,
to respect and appreciate,
what time we have. The big picture shows,
there is nothing to gain,
like real estate, can you OWN nature?,
can you OWN trees, birds, clouds? We came along with but our self,
when it is used we shall exit,
other people will have,
what we have today. The most difficult part of life,
is to not waste the precious time,
with silly things, like fighting,
like hating, like killing,
like following along on blind faith,
that someone before us KNEW.Most can't life live as it was given,
most aren't that aware,
most aren't that strong, most need that crutch,
that promise of what will be next,
they fear the dark and the lonely,
they fear change and the unknown.
