WHY WE WILL ALWAYS BE A KID
 

We will always be a kid, because,
no matter how many years have gone by,
it is always about getting,
gold stars on your report card.

We will always be a kid, because,
it is the new and shiny toys,
that always get us excited.

We will always be a kid, because,
when the clock on the wall,
shows it is quitting time,
we still feel the happiness.

We will always be a kid, because,
when the calendar shows,
the holidays getting close,
we feel the same excitement.

The more you enjoy living,
the more like a kid you'll feel,
the younger you feel in mind,
the more you will enjoy life.

Each day a new ride,
on the merry-go-round of life,
some days we get the pony,
some days it is the elephant.

For those who truly enjoy life,
they can change that elephant,
into their pony, with a thought,
for you control your mind.

It's the arrows that stuck,
into our learning tree in youth,
that triggers what we still react to.

It is why gold stars,
and shiny toys,
and the playground,
and the clock,
and the calendar,
all trigger our emotions.

The emotions,
the triggers,
are what you control,
and you have the power,
if you wish, to change them.

It is you,
what do you want,
what are you serious about,
for you to decide,
how important are YOU ?
