YET I WONDER

Don't judge,
lest ye be judged,
we all know the words,
yet I wonder....

Most follow religion,
most believe in God,
most believe in prayer,
most believe in heaven,
many believe in angels,
yet I wonder....

With the power,
of all these believes,
people can't trust people,
and are suspicious of all...

With the power of God,
bibles, prayer and angels,
people don't believe people.

Yet I wonder,
why the fear,
why the doubt,
why the closed minds,
and negative feelings,
toward your fellow man?

I trust and believe,
everyone I meet,
until they give me,
a reason to change.

And I have no powers,
to lean on,
to protect me,
for I believe,
in nature alone.

Yet I wonder,
how this can be,
that those who believe,
don't believe or trust anything.

And me,
with none of those beliefs,
can trust and be open,
yet I wonder....

Don't judge,
but all do,
with a closed mind,
with a negative thought,
with doubt towards people,
yet I wonder...
do people really believe,
in the powers,
that they believe in?
