HOW CAN I HELP YOU TODAY ?
 

How can I help you today,
my dear, sweet friend,
is there something you need,
something I can send?

You are my dear, own friend,
as I told you from the start,
and I want you to know,
I care for you, from my heart.

How can I help you today,
how can show that I care,
how can I be a happy in your life,
what new smiles can we share?

I know that many need a hug,
I know that many like to know,
that if they were really in need,
there is somewhere they could go.

How can I help you today,
perhaps a poem or two,
perhaps some cute little joke,
or some sites we can go to?

There are many who need to feel,
that there is someone who cares,
many are shy and afraid to touch,
but, a friend, nothing compares.

I reach out and try to touch,
the heart of another,
I ask how I can be of help,
I learned from my mother.

Many don't understand why I ask,
they are frightened by the thought,
many don't respond at all,
and each is the reaction I've sought.

I'll write and ask each day,
if my help is needed somewhere,
I just want to be your friend,
I just want to show that I care.
