DO YOU TURN YOUR BACK TO LIFE ?
 

Do you turn your back on life,
and allow it to just go by,
and really deep inside,
you're not even sure why ?

Do you turn your back on life,
because you have been wronged,
now you don't trust or believe,
you've lost what once belonged ?

With your face to the wall,
and allowing your time to waste,
your life is melting away,
and you'll never get a taste.

Why is it so easy to do,
to let life pass you by,
never a fuss or bother,
and not wanting to try ?

I for one, just wonder why,
people choose to wallow and remain,
for all their days and endless nights,
consumed in hurt, anger and pain.

Doing nothing is the easiest,
of all things you can do,
to sit and watch your life waste away,
is a choice made by you.

No one will care if you don't care,
no one will cry if you choose to remain,
no one will give a second thought,
as you sit through days all the same.

Until you decide to stand up and be,
until you decide enough of this crap,
until you decide to be different,
until you decide to find NOW on your map.

Things by themselves will not change,
change is all up to you,
for if anything will be different,
it must be something that YOU do.

Turn around and face life,
adjust your eyes to the bright,
and realize that all you see is YOURS,
if you believe and will fight.

Believe in you and all you are,
believe that you CAN do,
believe that you've had enough shit,
and KNOW, dreams DO COME TRUE !
