THAT OBSTACLE IN YOUR PATH
 

That thing in your path,
that you always say,
is the reason you can't achieve,

Turns out to be,
if you look closely,
only what you really believe.

What you thought was an obstacle,
that always blocked your way,
is a bunch of little things,

Each little thing,
tied together by you,
what a boulder the mind brings.

No mountain is what it seems,
it is what you project,
no ocean is really wide,

For the things that stop us cold,
are really the negatives,
that WE in fact did decide!!

It is ALL you,
that you THINK is other,
the finger points within,

For you allowed your life to be,
exactly how it is today,
regardless of WHAT has been.

There are no excuses,
just the fear in your head,
all the alibis have disappeared,

From this point forward,
if you remain as you are,
it won't be because no one cared,
because I DO CARE,
and I AM HERE.
