I AM ALIVE TO HELP
 

The reason I am here,
and the why that I care,
I am alive to help,
of this I am aware.

When the day comes along,
that helping no longer moves me,
I know on this day,
I will cease to be.

It is all about me,
to be a positive in our time,
I devote my energy in full,
every bit of time that is mine.

All about me is for you,
it is the purpose of my being,
it fulfills my needs in life,
it is the depth of my seeing.

Not all care or belief,
not all have faith or trust,
not all believe I am sincere,
so, bypass them I must.

I have one life to live,
and time is all there is,
so for those stuck in their pain,
I will just be forced to miss.

I found out many years ago,
to help, is to live and to love,
since that moment it's all I am,
as nature in the clouds high above.

It is my goal in my life,
to see people smile and let go,
of the crutches they have used ,
I want to see them free to grow.

Help is all I can give,
my hand is always extended,
and my love is always here,
to share as it was intended.
