LONG BEFORE THEY
 

Little did you know,
when you were around nine,
when life was so much fun,
and the future seemed just fine.

You were spammed then,
long before you were even on-line,
you were subscribed to the THEY list,
it was now a matter of time.

Long before they,
you gave all you had,
you tried all new things,
you weren't afraid or sad.

Now, you look in the mirror,
and it isn't you that you see,
your life has become all they,
they hold and won't let you be free.

Long before they,
you took chances and felt good,
you learned to walk and talk,
and tried everything you could.

You fell and hurt and cried,
you skinned and scraped and bled,
you always were back to try again,
not worried what anyone said.

One day your mail box was open,
and the spamming had begun,
now you heard such negative things,
about everything under the sun.

You began to hear things that hurt,
you began to feel bad inside,
it hurt worse when you were down,
it revealed your vulnerable side.

Long before they,
you ran your show,
somehow THEY got in,
now you've nowhere to go.

You must understand about THEY,
they point all their envy at you,
and every hurt and frustration,
they've learned their whole life through.

They say they really love you,
they say they really care,
that way you'll be easier to control,
you won't question them there.

Long before THEY,
life was fun and smiles,
know you are not sure,
the road seems so many miles.

Have you become a THEY,
to your children and friends,
have you become a negative,
through vibrations you send?

Long before they,
your eyes were open wide,
the wonder of life before you,
with all the excitement inside,
but THEY have snuffed the dreams,
THEY have poisoned the hope,
THEY have turned out the light,
THEY defined your right,
THEY put down all you say,
THEY ridicule all you do,
THEY have you convinced,
there is NOTHING you can do.

It is your turn at bat now,
you MUST take your stand,
you MUST know it is your life,
and your time has been abused,
you MUST want better,
you MUST seek more,
you MUST get back what you had,
you MUST open your eyes wide,
feel that excitement again,
you MUST want to live,
you MUST want to grow,
you MUST step forward,
because YOU SAY SO !!!

Go forward with the LOVE of life,
go forward to FIND YOU,
go forward because it is there,
go forward, nature WILL see you through.
