FOR BEING ONLINE
 

The internet has been awesome,
it has brought so much joy,
now Mom and I write each day,
and always find things to say.

Mom and I have talked more,
during the past two years,
that we did for 40 years past,
and wow, have those 40 flown fast!

I am so happy to be online,
and have the chance to talk with Mom,
we sure would never by mail or phone,
I shutter to imagine the cost alone.

For being online is a wonder,
it allows us to become closer,
to talk each and every day,
and say I love you in many ways.

Being online brings us together,
allows us to share some time,
allows us to visit for hours,
I can even write poems and send flowers.

It is a wonder of our life,
that I shall always remember,
that Mom and I shared time together,
talking of our lives,,our love, the weather.

I love you Mom, I want you to know,
and I just took this time to tell you,
we'll be talking each and every day,
and I love and value all that you say.
