THE POWER OF BELIEF
 

If you've done it before,
you can do it once more,
for you know how to win,
remember where you've been.

Like a hitter in a slump,
whose results have changed,
once a tree, now a stump,
how focus is rearranged.

No story is ever ended,
no chapter ever complete,
the only way you ever lose,
to quit trying, to admit defeat.

You can reopen any door,
relight each and every flame,
you do as you'd like,
in the moments that remain.

To stop is to quit on yourself,
there is no one you can blame,
you must make it a priority,
and get the focus again.

You were once a success,
look around you and see,
what you have is what you earned,
if you try again, it will be.

We all go through times,
when things don't seem to go right,
and we begin to sit and worry,
and positive is out of sight.

We can do whatever we believe,
we are responsible for our dream,
there is everything you can achieve,
for you are as strong as you seem.

When those around you say no,
don't pay them any mind,
feed your dream and watch it grow,
and success you will find.

Don't accept no for yourself,
let the others fade and doubt,
you are stronger than their mistrust,
their negative and fears you can live without.
