GOD AND UNIVERSE,
SIMPLE TERMS

For each beginning,
there first comes a thought,
the thought to begin,
for a result is sought.

This poem began,
on a blank screen,
but I had the thought,
I had the dream.

To assume the universe began,
from where there was no thing,
and from NOTHING,
something did IT, bring.

This sets me to giggle,
as I can't understand,
how something from nothing can be,
my education so grand.

If there was one to give the thought,
then it was never really empty,
then, how far back,
goes what we call eternity?

BUT, if there always was,
and it HAD no start,
this causes giggles also,
from deep within my heart.

How long is forever,
it means without begin,
of course with no end,
makes my little head spin.

Somewhere between,
being and not being,
between nothing and something,
is something we're not seeing !!

It is too much for us to comprehend,
too much for the human mind,
it means god and universe are beyond,
the minds of mankind.

This proves everything,
as clear as can be,
it also proves nothing,
as you can plainly see.
