LEND A HAND

Lend a hand,
to someone in need,
show you care a bit,
do what you can,
to be a plus,
even just talk and sit.

Lend some time,
to one who is lonely,
bring a bit of cheer,
be patient,
feel the love,
wipe away their tears.

Lend your heart,
to one who is lost,
and has no where to turn,
become their friend,
share their pain,
there is so much you can learn.

Lend some fresh thought,
to one who lost touch,
with the world that we know,
touch their hand,
show you care,
witness a friendship grow.

Lend some of yourself,
to another,
be in touch with mankind,
go out of your way,
to find one in need,
see love is not blind.

Don't be so quick to run away,
and feel sorry for yourself,
go beyond your comfort zone,
and reach out and touch,
another who needs,
feel the joy to the bone.

In life we need to forget out hurt,
and go out far beyond,
embrace the love that is all around,
give the love you need,
share the love you have,
and feel your happy heart pound.
