A POEM OF LIFE
 

For, at that precise moment,
that occurs in each life,
to KNOW what dependant means,
is the moment YOU become responsible.

For, to KNOW dependant,
is to BE independent,
and that FINGER of reality,
will forevermore,
point at YOU.

For, at that precise moment,
were you to stand at the mirror,
and whisper "DEPENDANT",
those eyes whom you will meet,
are the ones you must depend upon!

For, at that precise moment,
ALL in your life changes,
and becomes ONLY,
your responsibility.

From that moment forward,
each thought of anything,or anyone
having responsibility for YOU,
becomes your SELF deception!

Each thought of wish, of hope, or prayer,
if seen in the mirror,
will show so clearly,
the finger pointing,
AT YOU.

Each thought of blame,
each thought of circumstance,
each thought of fate,
points directly,
AT YOU.

Each thought of being controlled,
each thought of being used,
each thought of "I CAN'T",
points directly,
AT YOU.

Each moment you allow to melt away,
moment to hour to day to week,
points directly,
AT YOU.

The sooner we realize,
IT IS US,
the sooner we accept,
IT IS US,
to sooner we KNOW,
IT IS US,
is the sooner,
life will become,
YOURS TO LIVE.

The sooner we teach our children,
the sooner we show our children,
the sooner our children SEE and FEEL,
will bring that precise moment,
of PEACE and LOVE.

Rid yourself of pettiness,
rid yourself of worry,
get in front of that mirror,
and ADMIT those eyes that you see,
ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY !

You are what you allow,
you are what you perceive,
you are as small as you've chosen,
you CAN be as BIG as you DESIRE !

Come to KNOW who is in charge,
come to MAKE the priority YOU,
come to know YOU are to BLAME,
the finger points, ONLY and ALWAYS,
AT YOU.

It is all in a thought,
it is all in a notion,
it is all in a lifetime,
DON'T let it be taken !!

You must FIGHT for what is yours,
it is LIFE, you have ONLY ONE,
don't let it melt away with a shrug,
don't settle for LESS !!

If all around you is sad,
that does NOT matter,
if all around you is negative,
that does NOT matter,
if all around you is depressing,
that does NOT matter,
for the finger points,
ONLY AT YOU !

If all around you is defeated,
if all around you is unimpressed,
if all around you live excuses,
the finger points,
AT YOU.

It is for YOU to decide,
what YOU will be,
don't be sucked into,
negative and self pity.

Look to nature,
all around you,
ALWAYS ALIVE,
ALWAYS at PEACE,
ALWAYS AWAKE,
ALWAYS BEING.

This is YOU also,
IF you so choose,
if you so demand,
IF you won't shrug,
and settle for less.

The sun shines,
regardless of clouds,
the stars shine,
regardless of clouds,
and YOU need shine,
regardless of ANYTHING.

You have one life to live,
don't let it be taken away,
FIGHT for your time,
take charge of your being,

You are MORE than the health,
you are MORE than the money,
you are MORE than the pain,
you are MORE than the hurt,
you are MORE than the fear,
you are MORE than the distrust,
you are MORE than the small,
you are MORE than the lonely,
you are MORE than the shadows,
you are MORE than you believe,
you are MORE than you were told,
you are MORE than you were taught,
you are MORE than you know,
you are at one with nature,
you are at one with life,
you are at one with the universe,
so..BE AT ONE WITH,
that finger pointing,
AT YOU !!
