JUST WONDERING
Well, today I was wondering,
just wondering,
seeing people both high and low,
knowing how daily life affects them,
all the struggling as they grow.Today I was thinking,
just thinking,
when I heard a distant siren,
knowing it could be anyone, even you,
I smiled inside thinking of your warmth, knowing,
if it was, there's nothing I could do.Today I was driving,
just driving,
on the freeway, going to work,
a kid on a cycle flies by,
going at least seventy-five,
swerving in and out of lanes,
I envisioned his young body,
sliding along the pavement,
should he miss a zig or a zag,
he'll learn about life,
in his own way,
in a time of his own.Today I was smiling,
just smiling,
feeling so good to be,
knowing and feeling,
the power of being me.Today I am being,
just being,
sharing my energy with you,
aware that all is possible,
each moment, for time through and through.Today I am guessing,
just guessing,
not many feel as I,
so many stuck in their hole,
allowing life to waste by.Today I am imagining,
just imagining,
how good you would feel,
if you could but let go,
to enjoy this life so real.Today I am writing,
just writing,
expressing just what I know,
wanting to help just one person,
it makes me smile to think so.Today I am loving,
just loving,
the sounds and feelings of life,
knowing it is always now,
and now is so cool,
and now is so right,
and now is so alive,
and now is the best ever,
and now will last forever,
for now will always be now.©Written by: Ed Kassirer
