HEARTBREAKING
 

A story came my way today,
it was titled "Heartbreaking",
a story about the sad and lonely life,
that being an orphan was making.

The orphan has now grown,
but is scarred from pain and tears,
for growing without love,
in the orphanage for years.

I got to thinking this story through,
it is so sad to think of that child,
parents taken and then to be put,
in this place, just a name to be filed.

So many children today,
could end up the same way,
for in but the blink of an eye,
their parents may not be there some day.

Most families don't have a will,
and leave it for the court to decide,
where their children will go,
lives and love, cast aside.

Parents love their children,
they'll tell you every day,
why don't they have a will,
I don't need one they say.

I wonder all the time,
why talk of love and leave,
the most important thing,
because they don't believe.

Wills cost a lot of money,
or I don't have the time,
or my family will take care,
they think all is so fine.

When an orphan grows up,
and understands what life is,
when they understand about a will,
will they wonder, WHAT GIVES?

To be without parents,
is quite bad enough alone,
to be in an orphanage,
when they MIGHT be in a home,
parents who LOVE have a will.

If you think a will costs too much,
I have news for you,
ask me for information,
REALLY think it through.

Show you love your children,
care for their tomorrows,
don't let them be in a orphanage,
to ADD to their sorrows.
