I LOOK ABOVE
 

I look above,
I see a perfect sky,
not a star out of place,
and I feel an abundance of love.

Clouds float by, so easy and free,
it makes me so aware,
of the wonder of life,
and the perfect harmony.

I observe life in all its wonder,
I realize each small thing has a part,
from the tiniest little bug that crawls,
to the deafening roar of thunder.

I am a part of this wonder and fun,
and it is all a part of me,
we go together nature and I,
I am as important as the sun.

We are all here to play our part,
in this game we know as life,
we must give our all to the cause,
as we pump life to our heart.

It is all about here and now,
for, remembering what was,
or worrying about what will be,
will always distract you somehow.

I look above at the stars so bright,
they twinkle as they say hello,
they know as well as I,
that we are together tonight.

Their reason for being is the same as mine,
as we share this moment in space,
they feel my gaze and know my love,
as we are together in time.

I know of them as they know of me,
that we both do belong,
we share the stage of the world,
we're here for all to see.

So, never feel you are all alone,
here on this earth by yourself,
as each thing that is here with us,
and we all call this our home.

Smile within, as you love to live,
show the world that you care,
for the stars that shine and clouds that float,
need all the love that you give.
