AUTORGRAPHS
 

Every thought that enters your mind,
every breath that you take,
the universe is alert and waits,
for the next move you will make.

Each and every thing that you do,
is forever etched into time and space,
it is your autograph into eternity,
it is you, among the human race.

The time you cried the whole night through,
thinking he'd never come back to you,
the lonely walks through the park,
the quiet moments in the park,
these are your autographs.

Every time you take the easy way out,
and don't follow through,
every time you blame someone else,
these autographs are you.

Every time you don't do things,
that you know you must,
every time you find some excuse,
every time you break a trust.

Make your life a challenge within,
just keep it within you,
push yourself to achieve,
make yourself a promise that's true.

You are the only know who ever knows,
the effort you give to living,
gain some strength and self respect,
it is autographs you are giving.

The time you made an excuse,
rather than face your mistake,
the time you hurt someone you loved,
the time you said you couldn't wait,
these are your autographs.

Find a way within your being,
to push yourself and achieve,
you'll feel so proud and good inside,
you will have reason to believe.

We each in life control the ship,
we are the pilot of our mind,
we can be and do whatever we want,
we can be mean or kind,
we must know that all we are,
and all we can ever be,
can change in the flash of a thought,
for you and your autographs will remain,
for all eternity.
