IT TAKES TWO MINUTES

It takes two minutes,
to smile and say hi,
to meet and greet a stranger,
who happens to be nearby.

It takes two minutes,
to wish someone a Happy Birthday,
to make someone feel good,
we allow life to get in the way.

For those two minutes,
you feel you're giving to someone,
will make you feel different inside,
it is a wonder you have done.

To change civilization,
two minutes at a time,
it is life being worthwhile,
both yours and mine.

For time is what we have,
it is what life is about,
to be friends with all people,
with happiness we should shout,

"Take two minutes,
just turn around,
we are all the same family,
another brother or sister you found".

It takes two minutes,
to meet and greet each other,
what a wonderful omen,
on the day we honor our Mother.
