WANTS AND NEEDS
 

Do you really need someone,
as you need food or air,
that you would die without,
do you need someone to care?

Everyone says and thinks it's true,
they they really need another,
the only real need in a human,
is a child for their mother.

Once the children have grown,
and have taken a place in life,
the next thing they'll be wanting,
is a husband or a wife.

We are not taught to love ourself,
so it naturally seems strange,
but it is something we need to do,
if we ever desire to have real change.

You may need to lose some weight,
or quit smoke or drink,
you may need an attorney,
you may need time to think.

Many abusive relationships,
have a need at the core,
the real need is hidden,
for what lies in store.

The best relationship is based on want,
for being together feels good,
from a position of free choice,
two free spirits as it should.

When you feel you have the need,
this is giving you a clue,
something is not quite right,
is it something you MUST do?

Get in tune with who you are,
learn a want from a need,
let your mind adjust to this,
replant their mental seed.

For many spend a lifetime,
looking for what they think they NEED,
and never finding want they want,
as life passes in lightning speed.
