ON THE EDGE

On the edge of dark,
on the edge of light,
on the edge of reality,
in the depth of the night.

On the edge of the truth,
on the edge of a dream,
on the edge of a lifetime,
the door can be seen.

On the edge of the time,
on the edge of a heartbeat,
on the edge of time,
on the edge of my seat.

I've dealt with the doubt,
I've dealt with the pain,
I've dealt with non-belief,
and I've remained quite sane.

On the edge of the time,
for nature to show how,
on the edge of the faith,
I've waited for this NOW.

On the edge of going,
on the edge of finding,
on the edge of the clock,
to the final unwinding.

All the work, about to pay,
all the effort that led to this day,
all the intensity that found a way,
all the believe, that never would sway.

On the edge of tomorrow,
and almost no one knows,
what it feels like inside,
as the anxiety grows.

On the edge of the time,
when at last its due,
standing at the door,
about to pass through.

On the edge of adventure,
on the edge of all new,
on the edge of yesterday,
and I always knew.
