THE REAL GOOD BOOK
 

I have thought for many years,
of the bible as a way through prayer,
that you could reach a better feeling,
of how and why we are here.

I found out myself after much time,
it was a story hard to believe,
as it took much blind faith,
which I could not conceive.

I have since come upon a book,
that takes the task to test,
that was written in our lifetime,
that I consider to be the best.

I tells of how we can be,
masters of our dreams,
it tells the how to do it,
as improbable as that seems.

It doesn't tell of anything,
outside of who you are,
it tells you how to control,
how to reach any star.

I'll not reveal the name or author,
I will leave for each of you to guess,
it does have only 254 pages,
if you can't guess it, don't stress.

I call this the REAL good book,
as it deals with life as it is now,
it deals with the things we all know,
it not only answers, it tells just HOW.

It teaches we can be master of our time,
it teaches the value of plan and thought,
it teaches that each of us can be,
all we've dreamt and have sought.

I've learned the cost of life,
is time pissed away,
for each day we don't use well,
is a BIG price we pay.

To be aware of time lost for good,
to be aware of what each can do,
to be aware that it is only us,
who controls the doors we go through.
