SITUATIONS
 

Circumstances brought us together,
though neither of us can recall how,
this happened months ago,
we are such friends now.

We became so close online,
sharing our hurts and our joys,
flirting and teasing and having fun,
agreeing that emotions are not toys.

We shared history,
of what came before,
of what we had learned,
of hopes and much more.

We continued to grow,
trading warmth and good vibes,
building a new relationship,
giving hope to lost lives.

We discussed our situations,
of where we are today,
we came upon some roadblocks,
the outcome, we can't say.

We can't predict tomorrow,
the situations remain the thing,
we sit and wait and let life be,
to see what the future will bring.
