ONE SO YOUNG

One so young,
pain so real,
hurts me deep inside

One so sweet,
pain so deep,
I know how you've cried.

One so young,
used and abused,
now trying to recover

One so innocent,
with so much life,
you chose the wrong lover

One so young,
you have learned so fast,
the struggles to survive.

One so wonderful,
working so hard,
just to stay alive.

One so young,
life so short,
the pain you have seen

One so sweet,
such bitter pain,
even afraid to dream.

Life so sad,
for one so young,
to have ever known,
the years of pain,
the years of abuse,
now with children of your own.

One so young,
life so long,
perhaps time to forget.

One so honest,
I am so happy,
that we have met.
